About the College
The College was founded in 2017 in a serene atmosphere at the foothills of Vellingri hills and God bestowed perennial river, Siruvani with the motto of providing a quality education for the rural student community. The College embarked its journey as a Constituent College of Bharathiar University and recently has stepped up as a Government Arts and Science College, Thondamuthur. The aim of the college is to foster the overall personality of every student in a holistic way with high moral and ethical standards along with academic success.

Ragging Curb Committee
Ragging Curb Committee is functioning effectively in creating awareness among students to bring a ragging-free environment. The committee members make surprise visits around the campus to curb ragging completely. The committee aids in building a healthy and disciplined ambience in the college premises.
Placement Cell
The Placement Cell is actively striving for the benefit of student community by boosting up their morale and improving their employability skills. They conduct various mock interviews to face the interviews confidentially. Regular Workshops and job oriented training programmes are conducted in the college. The Cell organizes regular coaching programmes for competitive exams in collaboration with the Regional Employment Centre.
Academic Council
The Academic Council of the college is formed for an effective functioning of various activities to improve the life skills of the students. The Academic Committee monitors the overall academic progress of the students. Special remedial classes are handled by the faculties for an overall improvement of the slow learners. Women Empowerment Cell organizes various programmes for girl students to improve their skills in various aspects to stand as independent, responsible and empowered individuals. The Career and Guidance Council team is functioning as a guiding star in creating a clear pathway for student’s professional success.
