1. Introduction About the Department
The undergraduate program of B.Com(PA) was established in 2017 with the aim of providing enhanced knowledge in the subjects of commerce and accountancy. It is a three-year full-time undergraduate course that gives students a complete understanding of the curriculum set by the affiliating University. The course supports students in sharpening their knowledge in domain-related subjects such as Taxation, Auditing, Business Law, etc. Additionally, this program provides opportunities for students to pursue CMA, CA Foundation, etc. Furthermore, students are given opportunities to enhance their skill set through paper presentations, online courses, and other related activities.
2. Department Activities Conducted
The Commerce (PA) Association, COMPA, was inaugurated on 16th Feb, 2023. Dr.P.R.Muthusamy, Director(Academic), Dr.N.G.P. Educational Institutions, Coimbatore, inaugurated the Commerce (PA) Association and delivered a keynote address on "Performance Dimensions of Commerce Students." This program was presided over by Dr.S.Devaraj Arumainayagam, Principal of our college.
